The problem with n8n templates
Bezos didn't succeed because he used templates...

Still struggling to automate your business?
Let me guess: You’ve got a download folder full of automation templates.
You watch Nick Saraev, set up a free Make.com account, and did an n8n trial.
But no matter how big your download folder gets, and how many tutorials you watch, you haven’t automated a single task.
The problem?
There are a few.
#1 - Templates are extremely rigid
The problem with all these templates being given away for free is that they’re specific to one use case using one tech stack.
Meaning, unless you want the exact output the author built the automation to deliver - using the exact same software the author uses - you’ll have to modify the template to make it work in your business.
Which leads us to the next problem:
#2 - Modifying templates requires coding with JSON
I can’t even count how many people have told me something along the lines of:
“Yeah I got this template from _______, but I couldn’t set it up.”
Maybe you’ve experienced this yourself.
You download a template, setup n8n, import it and then boom…you’re hit with a screen that looks like this:

You know what that is? JSON.
And unless you understand how to code with JSON, your ability to take a free template and use it in your business is basically zero.
So what’s the solution?
The good news is that it’s possible to build automations without knowing how to code.
I know because I went from having never written a single line of code to building automations clients pay me thousands for.
And I did it in a matter of months.
More important, I made every mistake in the book.
Including wasting dozens of hours trying to figure out an issue that someone with a coding background could have fixed in a matter of minutes.
The experience was so insanely frustrating it almost made me cry. Literally.
But looking back on it, if I’d understood what I know now, my learning curve could have been 1 day instead of 1 painfully brutal month.
And if I could go from being a freelance writer with ZERO coding background, to automating most anything I want in our business (while selling automations to clients for $1,000+ as a total beginner)…
You can too.
I’ll explain more in our next email.
